Short version: we keep the data needed to run the app and to see whether it's working, not data about who you are. We don't sell data, we don't run an ad-targeting system, and we don't build profiles to sell to anyone.

No contacts, no phone number, no precise location history, no gender, no age beyond the year, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking.
Clips is moderated by software first. Every new clip and photo is checked before it enters the feed: three frames, the sound (transcribed to text), and the caption and tags are classified by moderation software we run ourselves on rented servers. No outside AI company receives your clips. Any reach limit is shown to you with the reason, and a person reviews appeals.
Google and Apple for sign-in; Firebase for notifications; Cloudflare for storage and delivery of clips; Modal for the servers that run our moderation software (they host the computation, they do not keep your clips); PayPal for Boost payments (PayPal sees the payment, we never see your card).
Settings → Delete account. Your clips, photos, messages, profile, and sign-in are deleted right away. Copies other people saved or shared outside the app are theirs.
Clips is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
